چکیده

For Maxwell operators in Lipschitz domains, we describe all m-dissipative boundary conditions and apply this result to generalized impedance Leontovich including the cases of singular, degenerate, randomized coefficients. To end construct Riesz bases trace spaces associated with curl-operator introduce a modified version triple adapted specifics equations, namely, mixed-order duality related spaces. This provides translation problem operator-theoretic settings abstract operators. In particular, show that Calkin reduction are naturally connected provide an condition applicable other types wave equations. Taking Friedrichs Krein-von Neumann extensions operators, it is possible associate arbitrary non-negative measurable

Boundary conditions for Maxwell solvers

which is solved in implicit plasma simulations. Compared with the standard Helmholtz equation [4, p68], (c∆t/2) replaces −(c/ω), and Eq. 1 is solved each time step (instead of for each value of ω) for E with S given. The source term, S, is neither divergence nor curl-free in general. Specifically, we ask under what conditions charge conservation is satisfied. Namely, do numerical solutions of E...

Kinetic equations with Maxwell boundary conditions

We prove global stability results of DiPerna-Lions renormalized solutions for the initial boundary value problem associated to some kinetic equations, from which existence results classically follow. The (possibly nonlinear) boundary conditions are completely or partially diffuse, which includes the so-called Maxwell boundary conditions, and we prove that it is realized (it is not only a bounda...

Boundary conditions in dissipative particle dynamics

We study a continuum model for simulating solid boundaries of a DPD fluid. A layer of frozen DPD particles is placed on the wall boundary and a continuum limit is taken. This produces effective dissipative and random forces. In addition, a reflection at the wall must be specified in order to confine the fluid. Three different wall reflection laws are studied and their effectiveness in producing...

Inverse problem for Sturm-Liouville operators with a transmission and parameter dependent boundary conditions

In this manuscript, we consider the inverse problem for non self-adjoint Sturm--Liouville operator $-D^2+q$ with eigenparameter dependent boundary and discontinuity conditions inside a finite closed interval. We prove by defining a new Hilbert space and using spectral data of a kind, the potential function can be uniquely determined by a set of value of eigenfunctions at an interior point and p...

Time-dependent and outflow boundary conditions for Dissipative Particle Dynamics

We propose a simple method to impose both no-slip boundary conditions at fluid-wall interfaces and at outflow boundaries in fully developed regions for Dissipative Particle Dynamics (DPD) fluid systems. The procedure to enforce the no-slip condition is based on a velocity-dependent shear force, which is a generalized force to represent the presence of the solid-wall particles and to maintain lo...
